EDIT: Only hours after posting my original review, a customer service employee followed up with me about my issue with my order. They advised they will be refunding me the full amount I had paid but told me that I do not need to send the item back but rather, can donate it. I still think the company needs to revisit how they do their sizing (saw many other reviews with the same issue) but I am HIGHlLY impressed with the customer service and quick response.
I don’t know if I would buy another bathing suit again but I am definitely willing to give their other items another chance. I understand swimsuits are hard to return for jhygiene purposes, but in no way, shape, or form is the top of this bathing suit a large. I have compared it to other swimsuits and it falls around an xs or s. Completely unfair to describe it as a large and then not allow a return.

The bottoms, however fit perfectly. How do they not see how disproportionate the top and bottoms are during manufacturing!? It mean it doesn’t even cover my nipples. Terrible description and service. Honestly was so excited about ordering with Shein but I’m awfully disappointed. I placed an order for some shorts around the 8th Jan, I then emailed them the other day to see where my order was and they told me it had been delivered.
I went on to check their tracking info on the item and it says it has been delivered somewhere in Belgium? And I live in Jersey in the Channel Islands. So anyway I then pointed this out to them and they told me to contact both of the couriers delivering my parcel which I did. Parcel Force ( the courier ) emailed me saying that they haven’t even received a parcel with that tracking number, what is even more frustrating is that Shein asks you to print out a form and take a photo and send it to them so that you can receive a refund. Which is a lot of hassle to go to. The refund by the way take up to 10-30 business days.
Honestly I’m so confused and upset with all of this. I still have other items that I’m waiting for from them and I’m very worried that they won’t arrive either:( ps they take forever to reply making the whole situation even longer to solve. Also as the sender it should be down to them to track where the item is! It shouldn’t be the customer that has to go to the hassle of doing it all. Honestly really bad customer service skills, I have worked in customer service and call centres myself and delt with complaints a lot better, I have always been told that the customer is always right. Please sort this out Shein it’s more than unacceptable. Now after reading other people’s reviews I really wish I hadn’t placed any orders.
I was a little skeptical of placing an order with Shein due to past experiences with international sellers and reviews I’ve read from other customers. But I’m very impressed. My order didn’t take long to arrive. Each item came in a zip lock plastic bag which I’ve never seen before, it made opening the clothes much easier and would make packing up a doddle if anything needed to be returned. I received all my items and they were all as shown/described.
I was very wary of the sizes as in my experience they always come up small, but everything fitted. I’m a UK size 22-24 and I ordered a size 3XL in everything, this was the size Shein recommended.
The quality is really good, the only thing I wasn’t too happy with was one of the T-shirt’s was a little itchy inside but other than that I’m really happy with my order. Hi, I had ordered 18 items off Shein website on the 6th of Jan 2019 as my sister who was down on holidays took a fancy to some of their stuff and wanted it.
Nonetheless we ordered double the amount that entitles one to free express delivery just to ensure delivery within the 3-5 days range as promised by Shein. However today being the 12th of January 2019, my sister who was due to leave today has just been dropped off to the airport minus the shein parcel which is still due to arrive. I have been trying to get in touch with shein since the 10th however there is no contact number listed on their site, no live chat, just automated messages that do not solve any issues, and FB messenger reply’s once in 24hrs or later. On researching and following up on their courier service provider (which is not something provided by the website and I needed to manually check all courier services in my area to find the right one), it was brought to my notice that the parcel hasn’t even reached my State let alone my locality. Further more I am not even sure it is in my country.
On tracking the package on the Service providers site we found out that the pickup was continuously rescheduled till the 11th (i.e. The day the package was due to reach us), and hadn’t left their warehouse till then. A screenshot of the same is also attached. If this is Shein working on Express Free Delivery I would hate to see their normal delivery. Considering there is no way to get in touch with Shein, am posting publicly my grievances to see what they have to say about their lousy delivery services and to prevent anyone else going thru the same scenario as we did today. Took forever to arrive (only received them the other day - 9th January I believe). I had ordered all XL as I'm a UK size 16. Site appears as if it's UK based and UK sized oriented. But clothes are from China.
Company is based in Belgium. Jumpers were FAR too small - more like a medium. No way would they fit me. Now I am undoubtedly going to have to wait ages for a refund, if I even get one. So angered that this company do NOT make it clear at all that sizes run small as they do if you buy in China or Japan.

So I want to start by saying I rarely trust overseas companies when purchasing online. I also think Quality won’t be good, or am I going to go through the process of disputing. But this site has proved me wrong! I am beyond obsessed!
I just started shopping with them back in October and I haven’t stopped since. My deliveries come on time,what I order looks just like what I receive, and the quality is actually great thus far! I also love the “flash sales” and the “buy one get one 99% off”. I’m a girl that loves a bargain yet lives for fashion!

I placed an order online, they took funds from my bank account and then proceeded to not fulfill my order because they flagged it as fraud. They requested a copy of my card information and my ID. When I requested an immediate refund because it was them that flagged the fraud not myself or my bank who flagged it, I was told a request would be acknowledged within 24 hours.
If your not going to send the merchandise, don't take the money. Also there is no customer service number to call so you are at the whim of faceless employees to rectify the situation. Our fraud prevention department selects orders at random to be further verified for the payment information.We kindly ask for you to provide 2 photos to be submitted.
On the first photo we have asked you to provide the card that was used for the last 4 digits on the card with the card holder's name only. All other information that we do not ask for is requested to be blocked out. On the second photo we have asked to show proof of the card holder's name from an official ID. All other information we do not ask for is requested to be blocked out.
This is a standard procedure with Shein.com to prevent unwanted billings. After verification if you place a future order with the same information we will not need this to be further verified. We do also have another payment option available with PayPal. PayPal orders are not typically selected as PayPal confirms your identity prior to the order being placed.
This may be subject to verification if there are multiple orders placed within 24 hours, a difference in the billing and shipping address, multiple cards used, Ect. If a PayPal order has been selected for further verification we will ask you to provide a photo from an official ID for the name only to verify the PayPal account holder has placed the order.
